You must be a registered voter to vote in the May 4, 2021 Primary Election. The deadline for voter registration is Monday, April 5, 2021. Check your voter registration here:
In Person Absentee Voting
In person absentee voting begins on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. You may vote at the Allen County Board of Elections located at 204 N. Main Street, Lima, Ohio, Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Absentee Voting by Mail
You may request an absentee ballot as early as January 1, 2021.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Saturday, May 1, 2021 by NOON. However, we highly recommend that you request your ballot by Friday,April 16, 2021 to allow adequate time to receive, complete, and mail in your ballot to ensure that your vote is counted on election day.

If you are mailing in your absentee ballot, it must be postmarked by Monday, May 3, 2021.
If you are dropping off your absentee ballot in person, it must be placed in the dropbox outside of the Board of Elections by 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
